Pharmacy Technician-IICatholic Health Initiatives - KentuckyJob Summary: This job is responsible for routinely compounding and distributing medication and pharmaceutical supplies, in both IV admixture and pharmacy distribution areas, in accordance with facility standards and procedures and regulatory requirements. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Essential Duties: * Assists pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to include (but not limited to) mixing of IVs, distribution of medication, screening phone calls/orders and alerting the pharmacist to patient-specific data indicating potential medication misadventure. * Distributes medication to the patient care areas via automated medication distribution or non-automated systems and is responsible for maintaining these systems. * Assists the pharmacist during...
