Full TimeThe Town of Southampton is seeking a professional to coordinate the Town's efforts to utilize energy efficiently and economically and to propose sustainablity measures.
Propose sustainability measures to the town board and ensure that sustainability measures approved by the Town Board are implemented; Actively seek, in conjunction with the town's grant analyst, grant monies to support the town's sustainability initiative and develop other funding sources for sustainable programs; Update the town's emissions inventory and monitor progress made toward the town's emissions reduction target; Assist other departments in energy, transportation and waste reduction programs; Monitor the town information-gathering process to keep track of energy use in various town buildings and assess...
