Correctional Deputies? basic responsibilities are to guard, control, and supervise prisoners at the Riverside County adult detention facilities. With various locations such as Riverside, Indio, Blythe, Temecula, Banning, and Riverside County Regional Medical Center (Detention Ward), the choices are endless! Selected candidates will be enrolled in an 8-week (296 hours) academy. Correctional Deputy is not currently an armed position but Correctional Deputies may be trained to carry weapons in the near future.
