Harbor Pilot/Moor MasterSaudi Aramco - Houston, TXPOSITION DESCRIPTION: Berth and unberth tankers and other vessels for which they are qualified, at the ports at for which they are licensed, at Saudi Aramco operated Terminals, in the Arabian Gulf or the Red Sea. Coordinate loading and discharging aboard tankers at offshore berths. Remain aboard the ships at offshore berths to coordinate and monitor the loading operation. Conducts pre-loading safety inspection of ship's manifold and mooring equipment. Instructs ship's Master on proposed mooring and loading operation. Gives direct commands to ship's Master regarding steering orders, engine speed and use of anchors. Directs tugs and/or mooring launches assigned to berthing/unberthing operation.
