Reporter/Assistant Online EditorWithheld - Tallahassee, FLDescription: A new Tallahassee-based news service with a commitment to reporting Florida politics in a fair and balanced manner is looking for a full-time reporter/assistant online editor. The successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running, possess an understanding of public policy and an ability to turn jargon into real language. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of journalism experience in a newsroom and some experience covering the Florida Legislature. He/she will be able to shoot and edit video and be able to craft excellent video and stand-alone text stories. Their writing and storytelling skills must be accurate and compelling.
