Covanta Energy - Fairfield, NJThis position will report to the Vice President of Government Relations and be responsible for lobbying state legislatures, Executive offices and regulatory agencies in a multi state region. The primary focus of the position will be on the issues of energy, the environment and solid waste management. The person will be responsible for developing and implementing a political strategy to promote and protect the interests of Covanta and its individual facilities. In this position, the person will develop a coalition of supporters both within and outside state government who understand the technology, science, local government relationship to advance policies and neutralize opposition factors.
