Stage Technician I
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Under the direction of the Theater Facilities Coordinator, provide technical assistance as needed for rental events in the theater. Work may include setup; strike; sound, lighting or video operation; carpentry and painting; rigging and fly rail operation.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
-Provide technical assistance for rental events in the theater.
-Set-up and operate lights, sound, communications and/or video for rehearsals and performances.
-Provide and assemble equipment for events including electrical, lighting, sound, staging, and video equipment.
-Assist with load-in and strike of events.
-Operate fly rail.
