Large Consulting firm is actively seeking PLC/Controls Application Engineers in Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago, and Indianapolis, with experience working with automation programming in manufacturing and/or industrial automation. Candidate MUST HAVE BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years of Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLCs), and Human Machine Interfaces ( HMIs ), for processes like chemical plants and food processing. Experience with Wonderware, Rockwell Software, and GE Fanuc Intellution/Proficy applications, and ControlLogix is a plus. PLC and HMI experience in food production, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals is a major plus. 50% travel may be required to support installation and start-up activities.
