Endoscopy Specialist, PRNAlaska Regional Hospital: Mountainstar Healthcare - Salt Lake City, UTThis position is responsible for the clinical duties of the Endoscopy Lab. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Procedure Room, and in association with the endoscopist, prepares and pre-tests equipment and supplies needed for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Serves as key person in quality assurance processes and studies. Trouble shoots for electronic and specialty equipment for endoscopy procedures. Acts as a resource for equipment setup and function. With consideration for age appropriate care, the specialist assists with implementation of patient care plan as directed. Must be willing and available for call as specified.
