Technical Operations - Desktop The IT Operations Technician is a member of the Operations Group within Technical Services. Responsible for operating and monitoring systems in a client/server networked environment in accordance with established routines within a 24x7x365 high-availability environment. Addresses defined technical issues identified through ongoing monitoring and reporting from systems. Escalates and works with other members of Technical Services as required for issue resolution outside of those that can be handled directly. Responsible for scheduled reporting, operational tasks such as files transmissions, and support activities to manage technical systems and applications.
