Food Service Rep 2 - ClerkHoly Cross Hospital - Silver Spring, MD- 1-2 years experience is required General Summary: Communicates with the Executive Chef regarding all aspects of stock. Reports all errors and or discrepancies regarding deliveries and products. Follows proper stock and storage techniques and procedures to ensure freshness, and safety of all products. Makes certain that perishable items (meat, dairy, vegetables, and egg products) are refrigerated and stored properly. Fills stock requests from other departments. Places food, paper and chemical orders and completes monthly inventory. Minimum Requirements: Have or pursuing high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or restaurant environment. Must be able to operate a pallet jack.
