It is a direct hire with pay based on experience. A qualified candidate needs 5-8 years of solid animal/cell/or molecular biology or biochemistry experience. The candidate must be skilled in animal disease studies (in vivo) as well as mammalian and cell-based assays. Good experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, and ELISA are needed. The position will be working primarily with mice.
