Must be able to type 40 wpm, possesses knowledge of Code-Finder/DRG finder and the medical records abstracting system. High School graduate or equivalent required. A minimum of one (1) year of inpatient and outpatient coding in a hospital setting required. Strong organizational and PC skills required. CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) preferred.
