Speech Language PathologistRoosevelt School District - Phoenix, AZSUMMARY: To contribute to the student's ability to benefit from their educationby evaluating and treating those students with deficits in the areasof: speech, fluency, and language development which impede thelearning process and to advise teachers on ways to improve theirstudents' communication abilities.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Evaluate children referred for speech, voice, fluency and language assessment.2. Prepare assessment reports for all students evaluated.3. Participates in the development of individual evaluation plans (IEP) for disabledstudents receiving speech language therapy as a primary or support service.4. Recommends appropriate treatment of students included in a speech treatmentprogram.5. Serves as a consultant to the student evaluation teams at each school.6.
