PHYSICIAN (DERMATOLOGY)United States Department of Veterans Affairs - Temple, TXProvides comprehensive care for our veteran population such as services in the diagnoses, care and treatment of assigned patients. Provides effective medical treatment, consultation, and diagnoses upon requests from other services. Obtains patients histories, performs physical exams, formulates a working diagnosis and develops/implements a treatment plan according to clinical guidelines and to determine appropriate hospitalization, and/or home care. Orders lab tests, x-rays, EKGs and other diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities range from consultative services for inpatients and outpatients, general dermatology surgery, to staffing Dermatology clinics.
