The Parathyroid Foundation is a new non-profit organization who's mission is to provide healthcare in the form of surgery for patients with parathyroid tumors who do not have appropriate healthcare insurance or otherwise have no means to pay for the operation. The foundation is being started by Dr James Norman, a world-renowned surgeon and the world's leading authority on parathyroid disease. Through his connections within the medical community, he is able to help match patients needing surgery with surgeons and hospitals throughout the US who are willing to provide the medical care for free, within the stipulations provided by a non-profit organization.
