MUSIC ASSISTANT PROFESSOR & DIRECTOR OFGrand Rapids Community College - Grand Rapids, MIMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct the College Choir, a mixed vocal ensemble made up of voice majors/minors, as well as non-music majors. Teach freshman- and sophomore-level applied voice majors and minors. Develop, revise, and assess the applied voice area. Coordinate the applied voice adjunct faculty and assign applied students to faculty. Coordinate the voice juries and record all voice jury results. Advise students on curricula, transfer programs, and career goals as related to Choral/Vocal Music. Contribute to the growth and development of the Music Department and the College by participating in committee work, department planning, recruitment, and College-related activities.
