Stage & Schedule Coordinator, Wordstock Book Festival (Volunteer)
Who We Are
Wordstock is Portland's annual book and literary festival, one of the city's most high-profile cultural events and the biggest celebration of books and literature in the Pacific Northwest. Wordstock is also a volunteer-run event, and we are looking for several thoughtful, energetic, and driven volunteers to complete our Leadership Team. These individuals will work closely with the Executive Director and the rest of the Leadership Team in planning the 2009 festival, which will be held October 8-9-10-11, 2009, at the Oregon Convention Center.
Time commitments for each position will gradually increase as the Festival date approaches. From now until September there will be a monthly team meeting. From September through the Festival in October, we will meet weekly. Most of the...
