Mentor/Tutor job at Community Partnership For Youth in Monterey, CA

Make a difference in the life of a child by being a safe adult! We offer children safe alternatives to drugs, gangs, and violence. You will be a mentor/tutor to children in our prevention program. We run afterschool programs at six sites currently. The main emphasis in the afternoons is on homework, which includes assisting students with reading, math, and correcting homework. We have a set of six standards that we teach the children as well that are based on principles of integrity and respect.
