CLASS SUMMARY: This class is responsible for performing routine maintenance of grounds such as mowing grass, picking up trash, and basic equipment maintenance. Essential Duties: Mow grass and pulls weeds and assists in trimming trees, and shrubs. Picks up trash, recyclables, and other debris from grounds. Operates lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other equipment and performs basic maintenance. Maintains recreational fields by dragging, aerating, and lining fields. Cleans, mops, and maintains supplies in department and community facilities. Assists co-workers and other departments with special projects such as setting up and taking down for events, performing equipment maintenance, and other activities as needed.
