DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES AND TASKS
Reports to the Program Director and serves as faculty for the Medical Assisting Program. Responsible for teaching within YTIs Medical Assisting courses, teaching students in theory, lab and clinical. Teaching courses with an emphasis on clinical techniques, coding, medical terminology, health data content and structure, pharmacology, and other classes as assigned by Program Director. In accordance with YTI Career Institute policies and procedures, full time faculty members participate in advising students, maintaining office hours, maintain professional competence, and participating in professional development activities.
