Cottage Friend (Volunteer)Five Acres-ca - Altadena, CACottage Friends develop a special relationship with boys or girls living in one of our residential cottages. Each Cottage Friend is placed in one cottage and works directly with the child care staff of that cottage in the development of recreational and educational activities for the children living there. Qualifications: 1. Age 25 or older. 2. Must be patient and able to give simple, clear verbal instructions that a child would understand. 3. Must be energetic and able to keep up the pace with active children. 4. Previous volunteer experience with children or social service agency preferred. 5.
