Education: Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an ASCP certification approved program. Experience: Minimum 6 months experience as MLT (ASCP). Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: MT (ASCP) or specialty exam or equivalent as determined by professional director. Special Training: must possess knowledge and skills to perform laboratory tests on patients of all ages, computer skills, interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively.
