Senior Peer Counselor Training Program The Maple Counseling Center (TMCC) in Beverly Hills is now accepting applications for the 2008 Senior Peer Counselor Training Program. The program provides an intensive 40-hour training to older adults, who will commit to volunteer 10 hours a week as Senior Peer Counselors. No prior counseling experience is required. Applicants are at least 55 years old, have an interest in psychology and a desire to learn counseling skills and techniques to help adults over 60 years old with problems such as depression, anxiety, loss and isolation.
