DB2 Upgrade
SCOPE OF WORK:
* Work with the DMV staff to upgrade their version of DB2 on z-OS from V8 to V9 in all three of their sub-systems
* Conduct a DB2 Health Check consisting of SQL Performance Review using Omegamon, buffer pool analysis, and training in the new features of V9
* This project is targeted to commence upon project review and approval no later than 3/31/10
THE FOLLOWING MANDATORY TECHNICAL EXPERTISE MUST BE PROVIDED:
* Has successfully completed a migration from DB2 V7 to V8 and from V8 to V9
* This requirement is based on knowledge for understanding the changes made from Version 7 and Version 8 to examine DMV's implementation and to have direct knowledge of what is needed to get an agency to Version 9
