Excel Nursing Program Department: Schedule: Per Diem Shift: D/N/E Hours: Job Details: * The Excel Nurse Intern must be currently enrolled in a Registered Nurese degree program and will be 1-2 semesters away from graduation. Excel Nurse interns will function as a Patient Care Technician under the supervision of their assigned RN Preceptor at all times. You will provide direct patient care and indirect activities to facilitate unit functioning. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate and establish therapeutic interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and other hospital personnel, under the mentorship of a professional RN. While in this role, you will have the opportunity to observe procedures, attend educational seminars and shadow three units of your choice.
