Assistant Research Scientist IExelixis - South San Francisco, CAThe candidate will study the effects of novel compounds in rodents utilizing in vivo and ex vivo procedures. The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: administration of compounds to rodents, execution of pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and efficacy studies, and tissue harvest/processing. Development of in vivo animal models for compound screening and profiling; investigates the mechanism of action for research targets and compounds. The position requires a BS in science with less than one year industry experience. The candidate should have some experience with animal models and experiments.
