  As an Application Coordinator, you will work with business sponsors to define software development applications, functionality, and timing. Application Coordinators help oversee the requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation done by software engineers, application analysts, and users. You will carry the new application development process through updates, testing, and rollouts into production environments, and will often manage contract development staff or vendors. You will be expected to carry more management responsibility than are Application Analysts, and therefore require more work experience.
