Director, LaboratoryBrattleboro Memorial Hospital - Brattleboro, VTThe Laboratory at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is a CAP accredited, full-service laboratory. The Lab is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week, by certified Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Secretaries, Lab Assistants, Phlebotomists, a Histotechnologist and a Transcriptionist. The Lab consists of the following departments: Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Microbiology/Serology, Urinalysis and Phlebotomy, Histology/Anatomic Pathology and clerical support staff. The Laboratory Director manages and coordinates all activities of the clinical lab. Coordinates a wide variety of administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure effective operation of the Lab. Establishes departmental policies/procedures and assures compliance.
