Hola! Bonjour! Marhaba! Do you speak another language? Journeys End Refugee Services is looking for volunteer interpreters who can speak Spanish, French, Arabic, and a host of other languages. Your services are essential in both in our office and in outside world helping our clients transition to life in America. In our Barton Street office we may need you to help a social worker or employment volunteer explain certain aspects of our programs or services. You may be responding to question from our clients over the phone or creating correspondence. Out on the street you may be able to help in a doctors office, the DMV, the electric company, or even simply the grocery store. The need for linguists is great and the opportunities are diverse.
