Enterostomal Therapist - Home Care
VNA Home Health & Hospice, Mercy's home care partner, has a great position for a nurse wanting to make a difference in someone's home life!
You would be responsible for providing professional nursing care to clients in their home, clinic settings and/or Mercy Health System of Maine affiliates. You would be responsible for admitting clients and coordinating the home care course of treatment. You would confer and collaborate with physicians in implementation of the home care treatment plan and independently provide and document visits, primarily to clients with abdominal stomas, wounds, drains, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and incontinence. In addition you would play an integral role as an educator and consultant to other members of the client care team.
