Advanced Tax Preparer (Volunteer)
Join our tremendous city-wide effort to save working families hundreds of dollars in tax preparation fees, ensure that they receive important tax credits worth thousands of dollars and connect them to valuable public benefits such as food stamps and heating assistance.
Flexible Hours - You can volunteer daytime, evenings and/or weekends.
Flexible Locations - You choose from 12 sites in neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia.
Become an Advanced Tax Preparer:
You will complete more difficult returns than our Basix Tax Preparers and assist less-experienced volunteers. With additional training you can assist with the Quality Review Process to ensure that every tax return is completed in full and free of errors.
