Heavy Mechanic
Performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on automotive equipment and heavy- duty vehicles, including diesel and gasoline engine overhauls and tune-ups, brakes, steering, transmission or hydraulic repair. Provides preventative maintenance, repair or service to WYDOT Equipment with minimal supervision. Work performed is not standardized, and requires much judgment in determining work methods. May act as a lead worker.
