Youth Street Peer Outreach Worker - AmeriCorps
Establish contact with runaway, homeless, and vulnerable youth in the Fresno community. ?Distribute emergency food, clothing, and hygiene supplies to homeless youth. ?Provide resource referrals, information and follow-up support on housing, and appropriate alternative living arrangements to encourage youth to return to a safe place, shelter or their home. ?Assist youth in accessing community resources for employment, education, and health care. ?Provide one-on-one and small group counseling. ?Conduct recreational and life skills activities at the youth drop in center. ?Assist with other duties as assigned.
