Assistant Engineer - Electric Services - newCity of Ames - Ames, IAMunicipal utility located in progressive university community of 52,000. Performs a wide variety of electrical engineering duties related to the Citys electric facilities and operations. Duties will include, or emphasize information systems support, including the electric Geographic Information System (GIS) and other Electric Services computer systems and applications. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and at least six (6) months of applicable engineering experience including the advanced use of AutoCAD and ESRI software applications; engineering design and GIS experience with an electric utility is preferred.
