Radio TechnicianSim&s - Fort Polk, LADUTIES: Coordinate radio and satellite communications support and services to include, but not limited to: hardware installation, repair, and maintenance; service requests; and leased services. Request quotes from vendors. Assist with third-party radio projects. The Radio Technician II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers* manuals or similar documents. Work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. The technician will work under immediate supervision and receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. QUALIFICATIONS: Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments.
