This is the perfect opportunity for the healthcare professional with patient care, teaching experience and a flexible work schedule, to supplement his or her income. A typical LifeVest patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge, and the PSR sets up the equipment and trains the patient and caregivers in the use of the system. A session normally lasts between one and two hours, and the compensation rate is currently $150 per patient. PSRs retain the flexibility to accept or decline assignments as their schedules dictate.
