Clean and maintain shop areas in an orderly condition. Sweep and wash and scrape floors. Wash interior window surfaces. Empty trash cans and dispose of trash. Remove and haul away machine chips. Dump out and refill cutting compound and coolant containers on machines. Clean spray booths. Clean and mop toilets and maintain supplies. Spray disinfectants. Clean lamps and reflectors. May operate mechanical cleaning devices or powered equipment such as sweeping machines.Perform general cleaning work in factory, office area and in office building including offices, halls, stairways, and toilets.Sweep, mop and wax floors and vacuum carpeting. Dust, clean and polish furniture and equipment. Empty waste baskets, clean walls, woodwork, mirrors and interior window surfaces. Polish metal fittings.
