Temporary Cost AccountantKforce Finance & Accounting Staffing - El Cajon, CAOur client has a temporary Cost Accountant position. This position will determine and implement cost accounting procedures and methods, and should last about 2 months. This position spends 30% of time on job costing, 30% of time on analysis and investigation of job cost related issues, 30% of time on cost reporting, and 10% of time on research and general accounting/administrative issues. You may be helping with the month end close process so US GAAP experience is mandatory. Responsibilities include: * Collect data, analyze costs, and prepare job costs reports and present results of job costs and profiting audits * Examine and review cost records and ensure cost data is allocated correctly * Contact and work with other departments and/or corporate personnel to resolve problems to improve accuracy...originally from Kforce Finance & Accounting Staffing - More Tools...
