Registered Nurse (L&D) FT- Nights (RN)Banner Estrella Medical Center - Phoenix, AZGeneral Description The Labor and Delivery unit (L/D) provides care and support in a safe, state-of-the-art environment to women who are or may be experiencing childbirth. The L/D unit provides management of labor, pre-term labor, labor induction/augmentation, maternal and fetal complications and c-sections (scheduled, urgent, and emergent). Number of Beds The L/D unit has seven Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) rooms, two operating room suites, a four-bed recovery room, six OB triage rooms and an outpatient testing area to accommodate those patients requiring additional outpatient monitoring. All rooms are adjacent to the Level II Nursery and the Antepartum/Postpartum Unit.
