Farm Equipment Mechanic - Updated 10-15-09Clarkson, NEMinimum age 18. Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English, lift to 50#, and occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions. Will do troubleshooting, repair, and replacement on tractors, combines, and other farm implements. Must have minimum 2 years of training or experience with John Deere or other ag equipment. Must provide own basic tools and chest. Will keep records, maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment, maintain cleanliness, neatness, and safety of building and lot. Must stay current with technical changes, and continuing your education by factory service schools, etc. Will avg. 47.5 hrs. weekly - work hours and days to be arranged.
