The position is full time, but the physicist is primarily expected to provide radiation oncology physics support during early evening hours, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM daily, and provide quality assurance associated with treatment machines, advise on physics for patient treatment techniques, oversee linear accelerator dosimetry. Participates in treatment planning of patients undergoing radiation therapy. This includes simulation, 2D, 3D, and IMRT computer planning of the patient's treatment.
