Software ArchitectAcionyx - Redwood City, CAJob Description: 1. Design and implement next generation platform that has both a client and a server side component. 2. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with both client and server side technology. 3. Well versed in building and working with location-based services. Experience * B.S in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or similar (M.S. preferred) * 10+ years of expert hands-on Java knowledge (incl. optimizations, multi-threading, etc.) familiarity with Java ME a plus * 5+ years working in an architect and/or sr. engineering role * Expertise in development of client-server solutions and service oriented architectures * Familiarity with location based service applications * Good knowledge of Web Services and general Web technologies, HTML, XML , JSON, XML Web...
