Position Overview/Description
Under the direction of the Program Medical Director, the Team Hospitalist is responsible for the medical management of patients identified as being under the care of the Hospitalist program.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for the high quality and cost-effective medical management of patients identified as being under the care of the Hospitalist program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Admitting medical and surgical patients 16 years of age and older (Adult), but excluding obstetrical.
* Providing internal medicine or critical care services (to the extent Hospitalist is privileged) to patients
