Cat Adoption Counselor/Cat Room Attendant for Tukwila PetSmartPurrfect Pals - Seattle, WACat Room Cleaners/Socializers: Assist the public with any questions and monitor public visits. Ensure the cleanliness of each cat cage in the adoption room while socializing the cats. Cleaning involves emptying litter pans, wiping down cages with disinfectant, washing feeding bowls and replacing bedding. This job requires some repetitious bending. Volunteers must feel comfortable interacting with the public and be able to professionally represent Purrfect Pals. Duties include: cleaning cages, socializing and comforting the cats; monitoring cat behavior on the daily log. Shifts are two hours in length typically once a week or alternating weeks.
