Flight Dispatchers are responsible for planning daily flight operations following safety and efficiency standards consistent to passengers comfort and on-time performance. They assure that appropriate personnel are informed of significant changes in the flight status, such as specific aircraft to be used on flights, aircraft changes, aircraft substitutions, delays, unscheduled landings, diversions or cancellations. Initiates operational flight information and time limit decisions by accessing the computer to gather and interpret information. Analyzes and reviews information to assure availability of crews and aircraft for each scheduled flight departure.
