The Stanley-Boyd School District has a combined population approaching 4000, which makes it one of the largest districts in the highly competitive Cloverbelt Conference. Since 1998 the City of Stanley has spent over $15 million dollars expanding its infrastructure for continued development. The city has purchased 420 acres of land along Highway 29 for housing, business, and industrial development.
