Friendly Visitors Needed
Enjoy an inter-generational friendship while providing support, self-advocacy and companionship to an isolated elder living independently in the community. Volunteers participate in an application and "matching process," training and background check. Hours are flexible - all we ask is that you visit at least one time a week for a year. Volunteers are matched with elders in all localities surrounding the Richmond area, including Mechanicsville, Ashland, and Glen Allen in Hanover County.
