Under the general supervision of the Animal Health Technician?s (AHT?s) supervisor and LARC veterinarians, the incumbent will perform assigned technical and administrative responsibilities to facilitate the daily operations of the health and welfare of a colony of approximately 40-60 primates including oversight of pre- and post-experimental treatment; assure accurate medical record keeping; advise principal investigators in effective management of animal health issues; assist clinical veterinarians with diagnosis and treatment; work closely with animal technicians, supervisors, veterinarians, and their staff to assure compliance with protocols approved by the Institutes...
