The Head Athletic Trainer must maintain communication with training staff, players, coaches, administration, and physicians. This position is responsible for administering the athletic training services program which includes: practice and event coverage; evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; referrals for appropriate medical care; scheduling of athlete physicals; on field/court responsibility for athletic training services and supervision; inventory control; teach 6 hours per academic year; maintaining treatment records, as well as handling medical insurance; with other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
